Anna was the first patient to undergo a laparoscopic cholecystectomy
during our visit to Bolivia. She was released the day after surgery without any
complications. The normal stay had been 5-7 days for a standard
cholecystectomy. Anna was overjoyed to have such small scars. She is
doing well and we wish her continued health and success in her endeavors.
