The Everest Extreme Expedition hired over 100 porters in order to carry the equipment and medical supplies to Base Camp. Here a man is captured carrying one of the medical crates that weighed about 50 pounds. Life is difficult in Nepal and these men worked hard for their wages despite the extremely difficult environment. They received wages many times the normal rates. Many of them with children had donations for the year's school fees by team members.
