Operation Outreach Nepal 1998 Phase 1 consisted of a week long period of telemedicine lectures and intraoperative laparoscopic surgical instructions. The team was proud and honored to have provided this service to the medical community of Kathmandu, but they were eager to get out into the highlands and seek out Everest. These yaks mean business and were wonderful companions en route to Base Camp.
