Mt. Everest 1998

AYUDAMOS was responsible for donating all the medical supplies that were used by the medical team directing research activities at Mount Everest during the climbing season of 1998. Donated medicines and supplies were used not only by the NASA Yale MIT Team but also by anyone that was in need of medical attention. The Telemedicine Command Station was visited by several hundred climbers, technologists, and tourists. Care was denied to none. Supplies that remained upon the conclusion of the project were donated to the surrounding Sherpa communities.
